Last week, the Mugen Links founders had the inspiring opportunity to visit Riga, a city rich in history, culture, and innovation. This trip was both a chance to reconnect with dynamic Latvian brands we are proud to support and to strengthen our collaboration with the Latvian Investment and Development Agency (LIAA). It marked an important step in our mission to help Latvian companies enter and grow in the Japanese market.
Reconnecting with Latvian Creativity
At Mugen Links, we deeply admire the creativity and dedication of Latvian brands that combine tradition, modern design, and sustainability. During our visit, we were delighted to meet once again with three exceptional companies that joined us earlier this year at Interior Lifestyle Tokyo:
VERBA

VERBA jewelry is renowned for its delicate, poetic pieces that blend timeless elegance with meaningful messages. Visiting their office and ateliers gave us a closer look at their craftsmanship and passion.
Linoteka

Specialists in transforming natural linen into beautiful, functional products. Touring their production spaces highlighted their strong commitment to sustainability and quality.
Studio Natural

Studio Natural is a brand that merges traditional Latvian craftsmanship with sleek, modern aesthetics. Meeting their team offered fresh insight into how design innovation thrives in Latvia.
Engaging with these teams provided a valuable perspective on their growth in Japan, their challenges, and their aspirations for the future. Their passion continues to inspire us, and we remain committed to supporting their journey in the Japanese market.
Strengthening Collaboration with LIAA
We also had the privilege of meeting with the Latvian Investment and Development Agency, a key partner in promoting Latvian innovation internationally. We shared Mugen Links’ experience in guiding brands through Japan’s market complexities: cultural nuances, distribution, and promotion, and discussed new opportunities for collaboration.
The conversation was forward-looking, focusing on expanding visibility for Latvian companies at major events such as Aeromart Nagoya and Medical Japan. We left the meeting energized and grateful for LIAA’s hospitality and partnership.
Moving Forward

This trip reminded us that market entry is not only about strategy, but also understanding each brand’s vision and working together to create authentic success stories. Experiencing the passion of VERBA, Linoteka, and Studio Natural firsthand reinforced our belief in the power of cultural and creative exchange.
We sincerely thank these three brands for welcoming us into their spaces and sharing their stories, as well as LIAA for their trust and collaboration. Mugen Links looks forward to continuing to build meaningful bridges between Latvia and Japan, supporting companies as they grow and thrive in new markets.
Stay tuned for more updates as we continue empowering international brands and cultivating cross-cultural partnerships.
