Native To Wear: Innovation & Sustainability from Marche, Italy

Native To Wear: Innovation & Sustainability from Marche, Italy

Last Friday, June 6, 2025, we had the pleasure of supporting Native To Wear, an innovative sports apparel brand, during a key business event in Tokyo. As a consultancy firm dedicated to facilitating Japanese market entry, we organized a series of business meetings for Native To Wear, helping them connect with potential partners and stakeholders in Japan.

Native To Wear event at Lardini Aoyama store

The highlight of the day was the exclusive "Essence of Marche" event hosted at the prestigious Lardini flagship store in Aoyama, Tokyo. Thanks to the precious help of Angelo Toscano, this event celebrated the exceptional craftsmanship and innovation of Italy’s Marche region, home to Lardini and other distinguished brands. Native To Wear was one of the featured companies, showcasing their sustainable and smart sports apparel that combines natural materials with cutting-edge technology, perfectly aligning with the event’s theme of quality and sustainability.

Alongside Native To Wear, FERRUCCIO VECCHI, a renowned Italian hatmaker with over forty years of tradition, producing handmade hats that blend classic craftsmanship with contemporary fashion trends, was also a prominent participant.

The event took place on the second floor of Lardini Aoyama, where attendees enjoyed presentations alongside authentic Marche wines, finger foods, and espresso made with NUOVA SIMONELLI coffee machines, creating a rich sensory experience of Italian culture. The gathering provided a valuable opportunity for Native To Wear to expand their business network, foster cross-cultural relationships, and explore collaborations within Japan’s sophisticated market.

Mugen Links was proud to facilitate this seamless integration, leveraging our expertise in navigating the complexities of Japanese business etiquette, language nuances, and regulatory environment to ensure Native To Wear’s successful engagement with local professionals.

About the Company: Native To Wear

Native to Wear company features
Native to Wear collection

Native To Wear is a forward-thinking Italian start-up that specializes in high-performance thermal underwear and activewear. Their products are distinguished by a seamless knitting technology that ensures a perfect fit and maximum freedom of movement without irritation from seams. The fabrics combine natural materials such as merino wool with advanced fibers like pure silver and bioceramics, delivering exceptional thermoregulation, breathability, antibacterial, antistatic, and hypoallergenic properties.

The inclusion of silver in their textiles helps maintain a stable body temperature across varying conditions, reduces muscle injuries by distributing heat evenly, and prevents bacterial growth and odors. This innovative approach reflects Native To Wear’s commitment to blending technology with nature to enhance athletic performance and comfort.

Beyond product innovation, Native To Wear is deeply committed to social and environmental responsibility. The brand originated from the passion of young entrepreneurs involved with In Itinere, an association inspired by extreme natural environments such as Greenland’s ice fields. Native To Wear supports The Red House, an eco-sustainable hotel project that aids Inuit communities in East Greenland, donating a portion of its revenues to this cause. This connection underscores the brand’s dedication to sustainability and community support, making it a truly purpose-driven company.

Mugen Links is proud to have facilitated Native To Wear’s introduction to the Japanese market, helping them navigate local business culture and establish key partnerships. We look forward to sharing photos from the event soon, capturing the dynamic atmosphere and fruitful connections made.
